Photo story: Montage van der Linde replaces glass on the 165 meter high Maastoren in Rotterdam
Some time ago I was asked bij Montage van der Linde to photograph one of their big projects. They had to replace these big glass panes on the Maastoren in Rotterdam. The panel are 5 centimeters thick and weigh about 950 kilo’s! Oh, did I mention that all this happens at 165 meter of the ground. To gain proper access the have to resort to rope access techniques. Strobist fotoshoot met ijsklimmer Dennis van Hoek
Enige tijd geleden heb ik foto’s gemaakt van Dennis van Hoek. Dennis is één van Nederlands beste ijsklimmers. Vooral bij het speedklimmen doet hij het goed met een tweede plaats bij het internationale Icefight in Rabenstein.
We hadden afgesproken bij de loods van Jordi in de haven van Scheveningen. Het is een prachtige locatie, waar veel kan. Gigantisch groot en helaas erg donker.
